Dachshund Prayers: No Snow, Please!!

Every Sunday Sasha and I would like to offer one of her "Dachshund Prayers" for thought. Just a friendly reminder that every creature has a right to believe or not believe in a higher power. This post is not meant to influence any one's personal spiritual beliefs, but hopefully will inspire us humans to appreciate life in all its glory and sometimes misunderstanding.

Dear God:
Please, no white stuff falling from the sky tonight cause those sure look like snow clouds! You know us low to the ground wiener dogs just can't take cold paws, cold bellies, and cold noses.

Oh so true! We thought Emma was a chicken with wet ground, but Duke is even worse! I can't imagine what it'll be like when it starts to snow!

My two gals came from Michigan and looooove the snow! I literally shoveled paths thru the 16" of snow in our backyard last year and know what? Yup, they dove into the drifts! Oodles of fun until they got in too deep and I had to rescue them. I spent last winter being the doxie AAA!

Awwwww....poor looooong low dogs.....you should be free from all baths until spring when the first mud appears! Your bellies should be clean and shiny all winter!

I love the photos of Sasha and Charlie gazing out the window -- are they maybe making sure the guests have all gone? lol I don't know what Sasha will do with all the snow when it comes -- she doesn't seem like that kind of girl :)

My tall Husky dog loves the snow, so I think we've got conflicting dog prayers going out there. But don't you guys like to burrow and tunnel through the snow?
