Monday's Message From Your Dachshund
Now, that Santa Paws has come and gone. The doxies are all making plans for the big New Year's Eve Bash. Even though, they have figured out the best meeting and greeting techniques. They have pawfected their snatch and grab and dash food retrieval system. Most are still worried about one thing: "I hopes I can stay up all the way to midnight. I have to see the lighted ball drop at least once in my doggy life."

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund
This week all the doxies have been so excited about Santa Paws coming soon that they have been counting the days till Christmas on their doxie calendars. However, a few smart pups just realized: "Oh no! There is only 12 more days on this calendar, and Mommy hasn't gotten a new doxie calendar yet! This is not good. Not good at all!"

Sasha And Her Prezzies
Sasha enjoying her new prezzies she got in the mail. Her Petsjubilee teammates sure know how to spoil her. She is laying on a snuggle sack covered with dachshunds made by Alice from makingstuffwithlove. She is playing with her new Santa Bobo like toy that was given to her from Diana and Family from DianaDesignsNY. She sends many doxie thank you kisses for her special prezzies this year. Also, I just wanted to thank you both, too.

The Christmas Card That Came In The Mail
Sasha and I got a really sweet doxie Christmas Card in the mail yesterday and in it was this cute picture. We have to give a high five to their mommy Lisa for getting all four of them in the same picture. We loved the card and the photo. Merry Christmas to Lisa, her family, and the D-PAK (Penelope, Addie, Duncan, and Kerby- left to right).

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund
The holiday preparations are sending our little long ones into a tail wagging overtime. The indoor tree is up with the dachshund ornaments, the lighted Santa doxies are outside greeting all those who come visiting, and the doxies have been practicing their caroling howls with each door bell ring. All that is left is according to the little long ones is to, "Hang the dachshunds' stockings by the chimney with care in hopes that Santa Paws will soon be there."

Sasha Pondering Naughty Or Nice
Sasha is thinking over the previous year and wondering if she has been more naughty or nice this year. It is the one question Santa always wants to know. Lets see, 300 trash can tip overs, 15 over excited tinkles, 100 hostile squeaky toy take overs, and unknown amount of licking without pawmission. But, she hasn't chewed up anything valuable, she does make sure all her humans are safe from squirrel attacks, and of course she is always the first to volunteer to eat any unwanted leftovers. I guess we will just have to wait and see what Santa thinks Christmas morning.

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund!
The bark on the streets this week from all the little long ones is all about the in-door tree being back! They can't stop barking about the lights and of course bragging about: "My human has so many wiener dog ornaments on the tree this year.... My human has a dachshund angel at the top..... My humans put the ornament that looks like me on the tree first this year."

Dachshund Sun Catcher
Yesterday, Sasha found a little spot of sun coming in through the bathroom window into the hallway. You know she was camped out there for most of the afternoon. My little sun catcher will catch all the sun she can during these fall and winter months.
