Another week has come and gone. The magical day of the week when we highlight five awesome pawsome Etsy dachshund finds has come again. This week like most Sasha and I had a hard time picking. There is so many cute doxie items on Etsy. We find picking just five is such a hard task. But, we did it, and hopefully, you all think these are the top dogs this week, too.

Monday's A Message From Your Dachshund

This past week all the little southern wienies have been the queens and kings of their own hot dog crew Mardi Gras balls.  After getting use to the royal treatment of all you can eat snausages and king cake, all the woofs that could be heard from the little doxies today is about:  "Hey, how come my servants have cut out my beef jerky treats. I wants to know who ordered the new diet plan right now!"

Dear God:  I kind of think it is a bit unfair that the day after we had our pre-spring grooming the sky dumps a ton of white stuff on us.  Can you please, turn on some of the sun rays this way?  Cause my brother has been shaved and he is a wee bit cold without all his hair on our potty trips outside.

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund

This week the dachshunds have had a multi-national dachshund union meeting.  Doxie diplomats from far and wide gathered to bring up crucial issues and squirrel intelligence reports.  First on the agenda was to find a more dachshund appropriate media image of the Easter Bunny.  Because, we all know bunny's and squirrels are somewhat related.  I am pretty sure I heard the doxie diplomat from Washington saying, "I has a cousin Buster who has done some extra work on a few well know doxie commercials.  Pawhaps, he is available to do the bunny gig this Easter."

Sunday Dachshund Prayer

Dear God:  "It is me again, Sasha.  You know it is so hard to not be tempted when Great Grandma drops perfectly good banana pieces in her chair."

Hi all, Sasha here.  Mommy took the camera out on our quick trip to the potty grounds.  You knows I was pretty happy the snow didn't happen last night and most was melted today.  Yay.  But, I did have to turn around and tell Mommy she mixed up our leashes again.  Really, I is red.  Charlie is green.  How more simple could that be!  They even match our collars.  But, she keeps saying when I am doing my pee-pee dance I just gets the leash that is quickest to grab. Well, I guess that makes sense. 

Here we are waiting for Mommy to open the gate.  I is making sure no squirrels are on my potty grounds already.  Charlie is checking out the human jogging by on the road out front.  You know squirrels are more dangerous than peeps, Charlie.  But, he keeps saying that I have led a shelter life or some such nonsense just cause I wasn't a rescue and all like him.

Mommy, thankfully didn't take a pic of the potty time.  If she had, you know I would so delete that. heehee.  Well, I best goes back to my squirrel spotting station on the back of the sofa.

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund

With the upcoming Valentine's day, our little wienies aren't quite sure they want to share their Mommy's or Daddy's lap with anyone even if it is their other parent.  This week they have been discussing ways of claiming the desired lap for themselves on Valentine's day. I can hear them barking now, "I could just pee on Mommy's lap and that would claim it as mine, but you knows the humans gets all upset when you do that.  Perhaps, we needs a blankie that will send them a message that this lap belongs to the wienie?"

Dear God:  "I knows you is there.  It is me again, Sasha.  You knows it has been raining for like 3 days now.  I am all for watering the grass and trees, and stuff.  And you know I much prefer the rain verses the cold white stuff.  But, if it is going to be another one of those 40 days and nights kind of things could you give a little wienie a life raft, please?"

Monday's Message From Your Dachshund

It has been yet another week of cabin fever for our little dachshunds.  All that pent up energy and frustration on the nasty ground hog has to come out somewhere.  Apparently, the pillows in last night's get the invisible squirrel pillow fight did not survive. 

Therefor, the little wienies are having discussions with their human mommies as we speak:  "Well, you see we need pillows that are already invisible squirrel proof.  What Mommy you don't know what invisible squirrel proof pillows look like?  Well, the pillow makers have marked these special pillows so even silly humans would know which ones are invisible squirrel proofed.  Basically, they are the ones with dachshunds on the pillows!"

Sunday "Pug" Prayer

Dear God:  It is me again Eddie the pug.  Please, let me have some doxie mind control cause my pug powers are no match for my diva doxie sisters.
